Connect with your IRC client

In irssi, with your password or an IRC token from your settings page:

/connect -tls -tls_verify irc.internal.sapphirestudio.tech 6667 <token-or-password> <nick>

Check the certificate: your token is the password, so do not send it anywhere that fails to verify.

To reach someone on another instance, type their qualified nick: /msg nick:example.com.
